When Was The Company Established?
The Company was established in August 2015 by Wayne Hession. After spending over 10 years working as a Project Engineer on concrete frame high rise buildings in London, he then moved to Western Australia where he started working on mine sites. After making the big decision to return home in 2015, Wayne took the opportunity to work for C&F Green Energy in Athenry, where he assisted in manufacturing 50kW wind turbines for the UK market. This was his introduction into the Renewable Energy Industry and since then he has spent long hours developing his Company, Hession Energy.
Hession Energy’s mission is to assist Clients in achieving low energy, low carbon, passive homes. Hession Energy’s philosophy is to learn in parallel with the new practices and technologies being developed for domestic new builds and pass this knowledge onto the Home Owner.
Moving Forward With Hession Energy
A common observation that Wayne has experienced since setting up Hession Energy is the worry that some new Home Owners are experiencing when trying to get their heads around heat pumps, heat recovery, thermal bridging and complying with Part L. The best way to remove the worry is to work with the Architect, the Engineer and the Builder from the start and put a clear, concise plan in place. This method helps to identify the systems that are to be installed in the build before construction starts.
Hession Energy’s main aim going forward is to keep on building on its experience in the different elements that go into building low energy, low carbon homes.
